What is GenX Support and what kind of help can I get from GenX Support?

GenX Support provides people and businesses with an easy and trusted way to get tech support, setup, training and repair right to your door from helpful GenX Support in your own community. If you need something done or want some helpful pointers, we’ll connect you with a Certified GenX who can do it.

Who are the GenX Support?

We select GenX Support after they apply online, go through compatibility screening, undergo a federal background test and then pass our specific skill and technical testing and requirements for the services which they want to perform.

The GenX Support in our community include college students, young professionals, stay-at-home parents, retirees and anyone else who wants to help their neighbors while earning some extra money. We’re proud that the GenX Support represent a broad slice of the community.

What are your business hours?

Our office hours are Monday – Friday, from 9am-6pm. As of now, we are closed on the weekend. During business hours, we are always available to take your calls. Just call us at +1 (219) 235 8822.

We always have agents available, but If we miss your call due to please leave a message with your name, best call back number and time, email and a description of how we can help you and we promise we’ll call you back as soon as possible.

How much does it cost for a GenX to come assist me?

Palm Beach County: All residential services performed by GenX Support are $100 per hour. For businesses, our hourly rate is $150 per hour.

Broward County: All residential services performed by GenX Support are $150 per hour. For businesses, our hourly rate is $200 per hour.

Miami Dade County: All residential services performed by GenX Support are $150 per hour. For businesses, our hourly rate is $200 per hour.

Collier County: All residential services performed by GenX Support are $150 per hour. For businesses, our hourly rate is $200 per hour.

With custom jobs or projects, or depending on the work for homes or businesses, we can provide an overall quote if the job will be more than 10 hours.

How does payment work?

All appointments are paid for by credit card and made directly to GenX Support. During booking, our agents will get a credit card to book and confirm your appointment. However, you will not be charged until after the appointment is completed and you approve and sign off on the GenX’s device. If it’s a remote appointment, verbal confirmation of completion will do.

How do I Alert a GenX to help me?

Can I speak to my GenX in advance of them showing up to discuss my issue in more detail?

Our agents are not GenX Support. Although they can answer a lot of questions regarding customer service and general appointments, if there is a technical question that you need to ask, we can certainly have one of our GenX Support contact you so that you can asked a more detailed question prior to booking an appoint or regarding your upcoming appointment.

What if my GenX never shows up to our scheduled appointment?

In the event your GenX does not show up within 30 of the scheduled time and has not contacted you to inform you they are running late, please call us immediately at +1 (219) 235 8822 to let us know.

What if I need something done that isn’t listed as one of your services?

If you don’t see the service you need on our website, just call us at +1 (219) 235 8822 and tell us what it is you need help with.

If we have GenX Support who can assist with your needs, we will schedule it. We do get special requests and have been able to accommodate each time or point you in the right direction to get the help you need.

Lastly, we are always adding new services as technology is constantly changing.

How do I pay my GenX Support?

If my GenX Support is able to fix my problem to my satisfaction in less than an hour, am I still billed the full hourly rate?

Yes. Any appointment that is fully completed to your satisfaction in under an hour will still result in you paying the full hourly rate. After that, you will be billed in 30 min increments.
So for example, if you’re internet is down and a GenX Support comes to you and fixes it in 30 minutes, you will still be charged for the full hourly rate for this service.

However, if you have an issue that takes 90 minutes to fix as opposed to a full 2 hours, you would only be charged the hour and a half rate.

How do I use my discount?

GenX Support has partnered with a lot of gated communities throughout Florida, and as a resident of those communities, we provide discounts on the first appointment booked. Please let the agent know the name of your community when booking.

Also, we are always offering promotions via direct mail, email campaigns as well as social media. Mention your coupon to your agent when booking so that we can apply it on the appointment.

I had an appointment and my problem still persists, what now?

Our policy is satisfaction guaranteed. If your problem still persists or what you hired GenX Support for was not done properly, give us a call and tell us more and we will make it right if it was something that we dropped the ball on. If we are not able to fix it do it being a 3rd party issue that cannot be repaired or resolved, then we will always ensure that we connect you to the right source to rectify the issue.

I love my GenX Support and want to book another appointment with them, how can I get the same person?

You can request your GenX Support the next time you need to schedule an appointment. We’re more than happy to alert your GenX Support of your request and if they are available we’ll get you all booked up.

For your safety and security please remember that scheduling a GenX Support outside of the proper booking channels of the GenX Support website or phone number may result in an experience that cannot and will not be covered and/or protected by GenX Support.
